haha, Im planing on a paint job in the summer, when its warmer as have no garage. What are your doors like? The base of mine are trashed, but on the outside they is solid. It just the bottom inner plate that rusted badly. is it worth repairing or just cleaning up the mess and protecting it.

just replaced my shock abosrbed cone mount thing. I guess your talking about that. AKA turret. Mine was heavily corroded so I replaced it. But, found the bushes and stuff were gone on the shock. So I got to either replace the bushes and washers etc or buy new shock. The standard I hear you say...

150£ sounds good and no doubt your be able to trust him rather than a garage. You could buy a welder for about £100 second hand that would be up to the job. just have to learn how to use it?

I got issues with me catch also. well it locks when I put some hefty force on it! the pull bit from within the landy dont pull, seized or sutting I guess.

haha I see. To be fair, its a learning process, of which im at the start off. But, even trying to do it, and being wrong is a great learning curve in my opinion. But, sometimes things aint worth the hassle :-)

on ebay they make their own part and fit the xmember for 350 all in. people say its good, on here. 3mm. I think if you cant repair it yourself, that means your gona have to pay big bucks. I was quoted at a garage to repair three small 50 pence holes on xmember and it was gona cost me 160£...

hey guys. if I drive with a faulty bush on me front shock is it going to cause any damage? I can hear knocking as I go down road due to bumps etc. Ill replace the shocks soon, but will it be fine for few weeks or so?

godov how come you couldnt install yourself, are they tricky? Do any of you guys no how to stop the bottom part of shock from spinning when your trying to undo the nut? I couldnt take the shock out cos its spun and spun!

I had a looks on padock and ebay for em. Some are pretty cheap. Some are nice and yellow, RE: britparts. Are britparts dampers anygood? or is everything they do crud. Any reccomendations? I want to use for mostly road use, greenlaning and maybe some "offroading".
