Hi All, I believe the new Freelander 2 is fitted with 235 X 60 X 18 Pirelli Scorpion Zeros. Can anyone please recommend, from experience, a good All Terrain tyre. Cheers.

Got the said vehicle 01/03/2010 and havn't stopped smiling since :); still kept my trusty Disco 2 for pure offroad use :D It's fandabidosi on the road as well as offroad. The one and only niggle is numerous false intruder alarms, this is after it has been back to two, different, main dealers...

How many breather pipes am I looking for, I was guessing at 4? Instead of buying the original Land Rover kit, has anyone any idea's or experiance on a cheap but effective way of extending breather pipes? I will only be fitting a snorkel later in the year, so eventually I can stuff the pipes up...

If the fluid is low, only use the genuine Land Rover refill @ about £12 @ Ltr !! Ordinary power steering fluids are not compatable.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to purchase a complete set of 50mm extended stainless steel braided brake hose's to suit Disco 2 2001 ABS, preferably off the shelf, I found some with 10 days delivery! Cheers

Hi Dave, to save a packet on road tax ensure the vehicle was 1st registered new before 01/03/2001. Mine was Feb 2001 by pure chance!

When I say HOT, :mad: I mean glowing red under normal driving conditions with smoke coming off the brake pads! with the offside disc at normal warm temperature under mild braking conditions. The caliper pistons were sticking and have been released, ok for a couple of weeks and problem reaccured...

Finally managed to damage the front valence, so its off with that and now trying to decide which winch bumper to use. I want one with recovery points and Hi-lift points but also suitable to fit with an alley steering guard without too much difficulty. I have looked at the bumper offered by Winch...
