I see what you mean they'll do the brake test on the rolling road and if the anti lock works it'll be ok. they won't just just fail it for the warning light then?

Its MOT this week and all the blerdy warning lights have come on today, first just TC and ABS and now the hill descent is on too. the full set! So will the tester fail it for this? ( i'm a wagon driver and you're in deep **** if VOSA catch ya with a ABS warning light on) if its not a fail...

yeehar and yahoo! took the lock out of the door, gave it a good drenching with WD, blasted it out with an airline, greased it all up n it now works a treat. I expect it will continue to work perfectly until i get round to puttin the door card back on. LOL Swampey i emailed the same chap on ebay...

i didn't find owt on fleabay, i'd better have another look, hopefully pick up some new plastic lug things for the door card as well, managed to bost most of em takin it off.

sorted the rear wiper, can't believe how much crapola was inside the thing, blasted it out n greased it up and its workin like a swiss watch now. no luck with the boot central locking tho, the bit behind the LR badge is pretty free n easy but lubed it and the knob still won't pop up...

its like owning a classic car int it? unbelievable amount of fettling. I had a 96 525 bmw before this and it need nothing doin to it in 5 years apart from oil, filters n brakes, nothin conked out, seized up or fell off, ever. I wasn't really prepared for this weekly round of puttin me car back...

rear wiper slowed down and then gave up altogether. also boot door won't unlock, summats clickin in the door when i press the remote but the knob stays down. giz a clue? Last weeks suspension drama was sorted quickly and cheaply thanks to you guys, and most of my knuckle skin remains intact...

thanks for your help everybody, I feel most enlightened. i've ordered a sensor and an air spring, hopefully if i fit em both it should do the trick. if not we'll be usin Doris's fiesta to collect our new caravan sunday ooops.

Disco 2, rear end has dropped on one side, is it a case of straight forward airbag replacement??? or could summat more sinister be a lurking in there??? cheers for any info:) Is replacement within the capabilities of someone with little intelligence and less spannering ability?

can't really leave it off cos the rear quarter is flapping about now, unless summat else is amiss. the other side aint too bad, the brace seems to strenghten it all up alot. i've found the D1 mudflap brackets on tinternet but they look alot different to whats on mine.
