Assume this is a dumb question - need a new 1/4 rear chassis for a 2003 D2 - found one which has 900mm extensions rather than 600mm - does that just mean the “arms” are longer and therefore can replace more of the rusty bits?!

jumping in here - looking to replace my rear 1/4 chassis as the rails look in a terrible state. Not sure of the best supplier - also seen these guys : https://www.replacementchassisparts.co.uk/discovery-2 Would anyone recommend them or any other supplier?

Looked through previous posts so checked the wiring in the rubber door conduit - bingo, two broken wires. All fixed now!

So - just blasted at top volume and the A pillar and small speaker at the top of the door now work - but the bass speaker does not. Assume this needs replacing?

I have an aftermarket stereo fitted in my 2003 D2 - used to work perfectly. Now the front right speakers don't have sound - if you stick your ear by them you can just about hear something. Rear right all fine - and rest of car all fine. Is there a fuse to check? No-one has tampered with the...

the two screws that hold the binnacle and mount together at the bottom of the mount are missing - does anyone have a part number or know the size? thank you!

May be a dumb question - have just bought a rear bumper off Marketplace to replace the smashed one on my 2003 Disco 2 - assume there is no difference between pre and post facelift rear bumpers? Can you buy the wrong one? Car not with me at present but it looks the same to me!

Bought a second hand bumper to replace mine - the new one has a piece of foam stuck on the inside on one side, but no the other so assume missing. Is this important and does anyone have a part number? It's the curved bit in the photo - sorry about the shadow. Thank you!

went for a drive - unplugged MAF and still had a hesitation when I kicked down at 70. Did the stall test - revs went over 3000 and car wanted to lurch forwards despite foot and handbrake on!

will do - is it worth me doing a stall test too?

is it a simple as just unplugging the MAF and going for a drive?

so the truck generally seems to go well, but when I put the hammer down I can't totally trust it. Yesterday i kicked down hard and it felt like it accelerated then hit a flat spot for a second or so before carrying on. Not getting kangarooing every time I accelerate hard, but it does still...

would a faulty TPS definitely throw up a fault code? Also, you mention the TPS is the whole pedal assembly on the D2 - is the part number LR030567? Expensive!

it is an auto, and I did replace that valve. Have also reset Adaptive Values a couple of times.. Think I have done everything suggested apart from the TPS

It was all going so well... Had an Alive Tuning remap, new fuel pump, blanked off EGR, replaced wastegate modulator, MAF sensor, injector harness and it was running well. But today as I was overtaking at 65mph it had two or three big shudders before carrying on. Any thoughts?
