Think Rocky mountain do a kit, dont know how easy it would be to fit but would also set you back about £450 I believe!!! Bloody lot of money for an old series in my opinion but it depends on how desperate you are.

Yeah i had thought of that but wondered if there was a more calmer way i could do it without cutting the wheel arches coz when i get the jigsaw or grinder out i tend to break somthing that i dont wish to break!!! Rekon thats what ill have to do though.

Ive noticed some series land rovers with defender wheel arch extentions and am wondering what it is like to graft a set to my series 3. Do i have to cut away any of the wheel arch? I know you can buy proper series extentions but prefer the defender shaped ones!! Any of you done it to your landys??

Yours sounds pretty good so i agree with ormus but bare in mind if you try to buy something you would probably try to knock the price down so ask a couple of hundred more than what you want, then you've got room for nagotiation (in case you didnt know!!)

I do suppose that gaylanders are better than some 4x4s, for example Nissan Terrano (swear word!!!) My grandads got one and he rekons its better than my series 3!! Come on at least gaylanders do have a land rover badge!

so basically all freelanders should be ran over by series and defenders with over sized tyres and then for added effect should be made in to series spare parts to keep ours running! Come on, it would be no loss as every owner of a freelander could be issued with a tesco shopping trolley!!!!!!!!!!!

i bought a series 3 landy just before christmas, ive been using it but have a problem with the fuel gauge. First it was stuck on full for a while and i realised something was wrong so i cleaned the terminals on the sender unit and it now ses 3 quarters. im pritty sure it has less than that in it...
