Hi I had a similar sympton on my TD4, when pulling away and even sat at idle there was a loud vibration which you could feel through the gear lever, and vehicle. Had the dealer look at it, and they told me they modified the gear box linkage by chopping a bit of it, so as to balance it.Anyway...

Don't worry I have a real tough hide, and a great sense of humour, I drive a Freelander you get used to it ;) :D

I have had a Freelander 2 on two occasions from the dealer, I found that changing down from 6-5 that the lever springs out and then when your not used to it you can change into wrong gear. On the whole looks and seems a good motor, makes my TD4 commercial feel like a tractor :D Cheers Schuee
