    Idle speed 200/300tdi with bio-diesel

I have both a 200 and a 300tdi that are now both happily running on bio-diesel at 90p a litre (woo hoo). The onlt problem/setback ... and it seems a very minor one, is that the idle speeds of both vehicles have gone up. I've been poking around the Haynes Book of Lies but I cant see an easy way...

    200tdi windscreen pillar rot

Well, I had a bloody good poke about ... having had a well tin-worm infested 300tdi and knowing where to look (everywhere)... and it seems to genuinely had all the lower body stuff done (got the reciepts for the welding). Course I know there will surely be lurking nasties in the odd place.

    people who dislike 4x4's

You gotta admit though, some people do give 4X4s a bad name: Me and the Mrs have got a couple of ‘hairy arsed hay burners’ stabled in the wilds of Essex and the little village just up the road from where we have the horses has a primary school...It seem that every Oumpa Lumpa fake...

    New nutter

Hiya! I'm Ash and my wife and I have just bought a 1994 Discovery 300Tdi with all the usual problems. I am an experienced motor DIYer (having built my own kit cars before and kept classic saloons running) but the sheer size and 'heavy engineering' feel of the Landy is b***dy daunting!
