I've just had exactly the same thing happen on my 300TDi. One of the arms was bent and was hitting the inside of the door frame as it went up and down. This was caused by incorrect fitting of the window mechanism. It finally failed totally when the pressure forced the 3 spot welds to break on...

I had a similar thing with SureTerm Direct. I had to sign a declaration that the alarm/immobiliser is fitted and working. They're supposed to be 4x4 specialists though and you'd assume that they'd know that these systems are fitted at manufacture.

Good morning all. I'm Paul, 44 and from Northampton. I've just brought a 97 Disco 2.5TDi. I've seen a few bits on ebay that I want but some of the ads refer to Discovery 1 and Discovery 2. Which is mine? It's a 97 on a P plate. I don't know if it's a 1 or a 2, 200 TDi or 300 TDi. Cheers!
