You need to replace the brake hoses with +2" extended ones or you run the risk of the original ones getting ripped off under full articulation.

I bet its crap off road though? :D To be fair, most people seem to be getting low to mid 20's so I just accept it now, if I want better economy I just use my bike.

And with the viscous coupling you dont even need to manually select diff lock! :)

I'm with NFU at the moment, but they want £295 tpf&t, getting a new quote off them tomorrow with all the mods listed. Just seems steep considering i'm 43 with a clean license and no claims! :( Sureterm want £269 with all mods. Will be phoning Adrian Flux and Greenwood a ring tomorrow after work...

Ta for the quick reply! Phoned Adrian Flux tonight but they were just about to close (7PM) so they're ringing me back tomorrow night. What are they like with mods, especially suspension lifts, Sureterm wanted an extra £129 when I told them about the lift!

Just had my insurance renewal through and it's gone up again, not happy!!! Can anyone recommend any insurance companies for a mildly modded Disco (2" lift, side exit exhaust, diff guards etc)?

Sounds the same as mine, low to mid 20's whatever the driving style. Got used to it now, but was a bit of a shock to the system after running a RRC on LPG.

For the axle and transfer box breathers just use 6mm irrigation tubing from B&Q, connectors available there too.
