alright mate , i have an mpi also unfortunantely so from the rave cd the information i have is as follows . engine 10w40 4.9 litres plus 0.4 litres if use new filter gearbox atf dexron11D 2.7 litres ( make sure you have the torx bit for the filler before you loose the oil out ! ) ;) transfer box...

if you jet wash your rad at high pressure you will feck it up , wash with hosepipe at low pressure i was told

finally got a day off so fitted new fuel pump , at last i know how much petrol i got in the tank !

I have the mpi and was looking into a doozil transplant , be careful about the gearbox mate , not 100 % sure but i was told the mpi gearbox was only rated to the mpi engine and would fail under the extra torque from a doozil engine , be just as well to swap the box from the 200 as well.

mmmm read this with interest , good to know somoeones opinion of the mpi , i have had one for 15 months and i would describe it as gutless . its fine on the flat tootling to work but here in wales theres a few hills and the mpi struggles , i need to keep the revs high , above 3000 or 3500 rpm or...

i agree with all the negative comments above , i was naive enough to buy one , they are very underpowered and very heavy on go go juice , i get about 17 or 18 mpg with a 0 - 60 of about 3 months. i am saving up for a fender instead , did look at maybe a doozil transplant but its too expensive ...

i had a similar problem turned out leaky sunroof was shorting out ultrasonics or whatever theyre called....

looks like you've had a bad ride fella , i would return it to the leasing agent and go the the old not fit for purpose route to get a replacement.

ive bought it a new fuel pump , gasket and filter....but will have to wait for a day off to fit...

i have something similar on mine , i get it when i come onto or off the clutch and or acceleraqtor and have been told its wear on the splines on the mainshaft to transfer box and its a common thing as on later models they fitted a crossdrilled bearing to allow extra lubrication on the splines...

if youre really that worried about it , put it on stands and remove the wheels ....although that wont stop a hiab ....park it as far from the road as possib;le then park something else between it and the road , preferably a sherman tank......... for normal day to day security i would recommend...

your wet carpet in the front maybe the windscreen leaking , it was on mine , get yer misses to put the hose pipe on it while youre inside to try and see where its coming in , captain tolleys creeping crack cure was recommended to me and has worked for sunroof and windscreen leaks , and look on...
