Dont Know if this helps- My srs light was on when i bought my disco ( 51 td5) It turned out the fault was a loose wire in the plug under the drivers seat, connected to seatbelt I think. Im sure I found the cause in a thread in LZ, maybe worth checking.

My 2001 td5 had a leak from the fuel cooler just a small drip but it did mount up to an empty expansion tank.I think it is a common problem,(some leak fuel but mine was coolant) changed the cooler for a secondhand one all is now well.Ratty knows all about this problem gave me some good advise as...

The same thing happened to me< parked came back 5 min later no response from key etc, phoned RAC 90min wait for them to get to me, meanwhile called local dealer, after a few questions he asked if i was near a phone/radio mast as this could interfere with the key signal, if I could push the car...

My td5 disco was loosing coolant from the fuel cooler, replaced the part been fine ever since.

had an idea what one it was,-green brown manual said green purple so bought a power brobe and did it that way, thanks guys for the sarcasim and the help!

tried that red, the wires go into the back of the light cluster then thats the last i can see of them, have checked Q&As someone said green/purple jus want to be sure before chopping into the wiring.

maybe a better explenation, I need to splice into the reversing light live wire, I dont have a multimeter, just thought I might get a sensible answer lol,if anyone has a sensible answer I would be very grateful.

Mine was just the actuator not a bad job to do, if you have small hands!!!

Try scan 4x4 on fleabay I got the actuator for mine for £39 their phone number is-01952727298. Hope this helps

Is any one coming from colchester to brighton or sussex area, need a rear load cover collecting, dont mind paying upto £20 for fuel.

Spot on Mark iso wired wrong way round, many thanks what a difference not have to retune the wireless everytime i get in the disco.
