sorted!!!! anyone else gets similar kickdown type problems its the Throttle position sensor. this is how the gearbox gets its signal to kick down. mine was unplugged!!! doh!

hi guys, i'm new to the forum and hope one of you more technically minded people could help me out(i'm a welder!) the problem is this.. when i accelerate from a standstill in D it changes from 1st to 2nd fine but then seems to change back to 1st back to 2nd back to 1st etc. it does this between...
