    Britpart exhaust

Hmm, just fitted a Britpart exhaust, centre box and both rear boxes. Fit was terrible  Seems the front pipe into the center box is too short by maybe 5 cms (2 inches in English!) which meant that the rear boxes had to be pulled forwards to bolt to the back of the center box. Now the...

Rear crank oil seal - 4.6 auto

How big a job is the rear crank oil seal? Remove props, remove bell housing bolts, move gearbox back I guess? Do-able lying on my back under the car? It's been dripping for the last 6 months, not causing any problems, just acting as part of the anti-corrosion system under the car! But needs...

Replacement P38 EAS compressor seal gone hard

I changed the piston seal on the compressor about 6 months ago, can't remember where I got it from (it's beige in colour), but also changed the cylinder and O ring seals. The piston seal now seems to be failing, there's low pressure from the pump. On examination, the seal appears to be wearing...

    Omg!

RANGE ROVER 2.5 DSE BLACK | eBay It's a 1998 DSE with lots of bling. Was the owner nuts? Why would anyone want to buy this? No mention of TAX or MOT, there's no service history at all and the mileage is 218,000, price so far £5,800 and rising!

    HEVAC control unit differences

Anyone know the differences between the various part numbers for the HEVAC control unit? Seems they have been changed at least 3 times over the years, part number JFC102550 being the latest I think, and as fitted to my car. The external temperature display on mine is wrong, seems only to show...

    P38 brake booster pump replacement

The brake booster pump on my 99 4.6 HSE is covered in brake fluid, I'm guessing there's a leak somewhere! It doesn't look to be either of the pipe unions, so wondering if there's seals etc that have failed? I know it's non-repairable, so a second hand replacement will probably be required as new...

    TD4 MAF sensor

If anyone needs to know, the easiest way to replace the MAF sensor is to remove the 2 screws securing the actual sensor to the duct. Land Rover sell it complete with the duct, a Rover Ron Pierberg MAF is the sensor only. Thing is, these screws are a bit strange, they are 5 point security star...

    Freelander TD4 Lack Of Power

04 TD4 Freelander with lack of power from 1800 revs or so. Starts and idles fine. Foot flat to the floor from 1800 revs or so and it'll get to 2000 and pretty much stay there unless the auto box kicks down. Acceleration is very poor. No fault codes and no MIL light, diagnostics all show...
