Thanks for the advice gents, the hassles I was thinking of were: alarm, window reset, sunroof reset, pyrotechnic device on positive terminal and anything else that a vehicle of such huge compexity can dream up!

Am changing the battery on the L322, I intend to attach a booster battery to the remote battery terminals so as not to cause all the resetting hassle when you disconnect the actual terminals. Has anybody tried this? Is there anything I should know?

Hi Bemble, thanks for the info. Is it OK to get the filter cap off with a chain filter wrench? Don't want to break the thing. Am using Castrol 10/40. What do you think? Cheers PeteA

Hi all, Just signed up to the zone from Pembrokeshire. Have just bought a 2004 L322 and if previous LR ownership (military, disco, P38) is anything to go by no doubt this one will be full of little "quirks" to keep me guessing and the parts suppliers in work!
