If it's 300tdi engine or before (pretty much pre 1998 unless ex mod) you should be ok. I have ran all my previous landys on various mixes of veg oil but was warned not to use any veg with anti foaming agents but that seems to work as well going by others on here.

Tesco is 3 for 3 TC have you been running long on the 20l tubs? I can get them for around 16-17 but was told to stay away from larger tubs as they contain the anti foaming agents. If they work fine ill look into getting some :)

After a break from land rovers I am now the owner of an import 300tdi auto. service kit, decat and egr blank are waiting to be done and I am possibly going to be fitting a roverron but I'm still undecided on that one. Modulars and grabbers are getting collected this weekend and flexi arches...

Breaking it will take longer to sell than putting it back together. Why not use a couple of days holiday and fix it? Once it's back together you can then decide which one you want

Ok thanks, probably better to get the owner to change it over then. Probably a daft question but does the v5 need to be sent off for the change? Would hold things up a little until it comes back.
