Could be some sort of air leak, I would try checking easy things first like any split's or cracks in the intake/air filter box.

One of mi mates as got a p reg 300tdi. Used to have a problem with his, if i remember right think it was just a problem with the set button on the steering wheel. He just poped button out, easy fix apparently.

Thanks for the info "redhand" Didn't think i could get something that new, just got the problem of getting insured now. only been 18 won't help i don't think.:eek:

Just wanted to say hello to all of you. Don't own a landy as yet but looking at getting a disco for about £2000. Not sure what condition it's going to be in for that price:confused2:. Any information would be very gratefull.:D Regards Rich.
