    new freelander

Hi, we've had our Freelander 2 SE for what must be six weeks now. Covered quite a mileage already. We've experienced no problems as mentioned with the gear change. Though first to second can seem a bit lumpy on occasions. Absolutely thrilled with it and find it a vast improvement over our W...

    Indie Garage nr Bournemouth/Poole

Hi, have had no luck tracing Roger Pardy of Verwood. However after surfing around a bit more I've found an independant Land Rover 4x4 garage in Poole,Dorset called Range Motors. Their website looks very comprehensive. Has anyone here used these guysor heard about them ? Any feedback would be...

    Light Grills

We've got Light Grills and dont experience any problems. Apart from the fact the lights weren't too good anyway. Have recently replaced the original bulbs with Xenons of same output. Definatly a worthwile improvement.

Careful how you wash the TD4 ?

Agreed..the Freelander does seem to be a bit of an Aunt Sally. Having had a good look around here and other sites I'd say it's no less reliable than any other model in the Land Rover range. Think I'm right in saying (shoot me down if I'm not) the Freelander has been the best selling 4x4 in...

New Disco / Range Rover Sport

Well to be honest Gareth, ALWAYS been a big Land Rover fan.Wanted one in my twenties...it never happened..and now all those years later my 4x4 hating missus actually liked the Freelander so feel we're getting there in a long winded way. So basically I'm saying I'm rather passionate about them...

New Disco / Range Rover Sport

If I may add my view (as a newbie) having spent some time perving around our local LR dealers I must admit I rather like the new Disco3 although have to agree, it looks funerial in black. The Range Rover Sport begs the question...why? It'll be interesting to see what they do to the...

    Newbie Here

Hi Adam and welcome, I'm a newbie too. I did a fair bit of research before buying our 1.8 XEi Freelander Station Wagon but unfortunatly at the time didn't know about this site. Its a darned well behaved 4x4 to drive and both me and my wife are really pleased with ours. A poor turning circle...

    Indie Garage nr Bournemouth/Poole

Cheers Slob. Verwood is very close to our side of Bournemouth but fear they may not be trading anymore. Visited our main dealer Westover in Barrack Road for a new remote & key. They were highly professional and very pleasant but you're paying a high hourly rate and top prices for parts there...

    thumbs up from a newbie

Hello. We bought our Freelander 1.8 Xi SW back in early October this year. This is for my wife to cart around the dog and do runs down to her relatives in Paignton. We've both been really impressed with it. You want a laugh?? Well my wife has always been anti 4x4's saying they're ok if you...
