Have you checked all of your belts to see if they are tight,could be that you may have a loose one thats squelling---Dave

There is an independant one in Sunderland-think his name is Les Potts,word is he will do a good job,i use Cheviot 4x4 here if need be,but as you say a little far.Thought if garage was vat registered it would not affect your warranty,i could be incorrect,maybe somebody will put me right on...

Is there not any independant land rover garages in your area,i would be using one of them if i was you,these "stealers" will charge you £110 an hour labour+vat for having your car standing around the back doing nowt!and you paying for it.I thought that i had found a decent dealer where i bought...

Mine was 70mm and when i fitted it today it was an exact size,had to really push it on to the air intake pipe's.---Dave

Have changed the intercooler hoses today along with the air-intake pipe.It looks just like singvogels motor now except his motor is in silver[sorry thought it was in white at first] and mine is red.Sorry unable to upload pictures for you all as i am totally computer thickee.Anyway looks...

My engine covers are the same as singvogel's,only thing i don't have is the millers bottle and the bottle by the battery-and the christmas wrapping paper beside the fuse box!ha-ha.My car is a 55plate/06 registered and looks as clean as his.---Dave

Silkwood,have just ordered a set of hose's for mine,also ordered a piece of flexable air-intake hose from a MR-SILICONE.Just needed to tidy engine up.will post pictures [if i can] when i get it done.---Dave

Can anybody help here regarding fitting new silicone hoses on the TD4-Is there any benefits to fitting these or are they just cosmetic.have found some on here--dphsport.co.uk for £65-00 squid or can you buy cheaper in the uk----Dave
