thanks for all replys, my tyres are standard and have about 38 to 40 psi and its a manual box, my old 200tdi gave me about 34mpg. I do 6 miles total a day and no motorway runs. Right this weekend i will set about it with my big hammer. thanks ginger

my 300tdi presents the same problem now its cold it always starts but sounds like its on 1 or 2 cylinders and it billows out white smoke smelly diesel smoke not oil or condensation smoke, put new glow plugs in last week it made no difference, once its warm she runs fine no smoke at all, egr mod...

my last 2 cars ran fine on ktc veg oil both french 406 models, anyway macro now sell 20 litres veg oil at 15.50 but it has got anti foaming agent but my old peugeot's both did over 30k miles on the stuff with no ill effects. However i have not tried it in my disco yet, not sure if it will cope...

Hello all been on here for a few months and just got round to registering today, sold my 200tdi 3 door now have a 300tdi 5 door but its crap fuel consumption is a big concern. ginger:D
