My v8 disco is rubbish offroad, as its too low, not only this it handles like a boat on road as the suspension is so soggy, could i fix this with hd lift springs or would i need the shocks aswell, im trying to do this cheaply as im a student and v8s arent cheap to start with!

My engine is slightly out of time and i am in the middle of adjusting it, what i need to know is: If i set no. one cylinder to TDC, then align the injector pump pulley and the camshaft pulley to the timing marks will the engine then be correctly in time? thanks for any help!
