Discovery 2 With 300tdi - Rev Counter and Temperature Gauge

The instrument packs turned up, unfortunately, the TD5 pack is on one circuit board, so it's unlikely we're going to be able to put something together with them.

Discovery 2 With 300tdi - Rev Counter and Temperature Gauge

It wasn't that cheap :p Going to give them a ring next week, but north Yorkshire is a long old trek Errmmm, the alternator did kind of go, the pully sheared off, the day before we were due to fly out to Serbia for a month. At least we weren't planning on driving, this time

Discovery 2 With 300tdi - Rev Counter and Temperature Gauge

Already got Rave, but electrical rewiring isn't really my thing You are indeed right, I meant BCU The suspension has been converted to all coils, so we don't have SL or ACE, and we're pretty sure the ABS isn't working anymore. There is a lot of black tape covering up various lights on the...

Discovery 2 With 300tdi - Rev Counter and Temperature Gauge

The BCM is mentioned in the Haynes book, just not where it is, of course, because of the engine transplant, I'm wondering if it's been bypassed as there are a lot wires spliced into the fuse box under the bonnet

Discovery 2 With 300tdi - Rev Counter and Temperature Gauge

    London to Brighton, any good?

It's the London to Brighton Land Rover Run, this wkend. I'm half thinking about going along, but not sure about the camping aspect with a 19 month old. I used to be a member of the club that organises it and went on the run a few years ago. It's certainly well worth doing it, and, as has been...

Sorry, didn't realise the door was locked, just that it wouldn't open :o So glad we sold our P38's, I prefer being back to basics with my tired old Disco 1 :D

    passenger door

Try just taking the surround off of the inside handle (pull the handle and there is a screw behind it, if not already done), there should be a thick wire cable/rod with a plastic ring attached to the handle, it may have come off (happened to mine), but it shouldn't have gone too far. If this is...

    wobbly steering wheel when braking

I usually go with MM 4x4 if i'm happy to wait a couple of days for delivery or Keith Gott if I want to pick it up that day, Gott's is a little more expensive and does deliver but I'm local enough and if I need it in a hurry, which is usually, it's handy. Try and find a good local(ish) LR parts...
