    urgent help needed

Ive tryed all the suggestions on here and i think its the head gasket, just because its doing what mark has said with the water levels dropping and then suddenly gushing back in. When i put the cap on too the water seems to disappear and it only fills back up if i release the cap.

    Steering problem

Everytime i hit some water, not a speed but enough to get a splash and not the deep either, the steering goes juddery, and its near impossible to turn at low speeds, kind of judders and then theres a squeel from under the bonnet. Is the steering belt wrecked? :mad2:

    propshaft bearings

No, mine gets louder as i get quicker. Im starting to think it could be a bearing, but i've jacked it up and have no side movement, so may just change it anyway since its a cheap fix.
