A Forum Thank You from a new member

Hi Silver Streak, Greetings from New Zealand. Make sure you get rid of the residual oil that is still in the second half of the loom from the plug in the cylinder head to the ECU. The best way is a litre of meths a small funnel and some patience. Open a gap in the plastic insulation in the...

    discovery td5 missing

It still sounds like injector harness to me. Did you flush out the harness between the plug in the head and the ECU?? You need about a litre of meths and a small funnel, takes about half an hour to flush. Make an opening in the plastic insulation at the top of the loom to get the funnel nozzle...

    TD5 Engine

 Yes I have, it was caused by the By Pass hose rubbing against the swage on the power steering hose. She dumped the coolant so quickly that there was no warning. The temperature guage sensor cannot read air temperature and so the guage continues to read normal. I didn't even smell it...

    Headlamp Facelift

While waiting for my new td5 engine to arrive I decided to upgrade the headlamps. At least it gave me some time to play with my Disco. Plus I learnt how to post photos. Before: After: Makes a difference, she'll melt tarmac at 500 metres now. God help anybody who flashes their headlamps at me!

Looking for a bit more power

Get in touch with Gary Wood at Td5 Alive. He knows what he is doing and you will be blown away with the results. He will tune the vehicle to how you want it and the improved driveability and performance is amazing. If you go as far as a stage 2 tune a Disco2 V8 would have a struggle to keep up...
