Regarding Aircon, I looked into having this fitted (aftermarket) to my 90 and it is hellish expensive, so if you can you want to buy a 110 with it already fitted. Also you will be able to test drive, as the aircon dash and vents reduce the leg room significantly in the front, and you may find...

My 300TDi gets between 28/30 mpg depending how i push it. Will cruise down the motorway happily at 70-75 but is faaaaaaaaaaaar more efficient at 60-65.

Sorry...didn't take your advice Nige, I had a go and wish I hadn't bothered! I broke two nails, got all dirty and still didn't finish because I didn't know my own strength and snapped the aerial cable when trying to pull it through the bulkhead...............may change my name to butch!

I just added two new speakers in the headlining above the door (catch end) give great sound and as they are quite close to your ears volume doesn't have to be v.high to hear over engine!

Well with my wonky wiper I would probably get better reception on Channel 4 than my current aerial gets on the radio!!

Hi there, wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove a standard, wing mounted aerial (off my 1997 Def 90). I just can't see under the wing very well..........not without bashing my head on the coolant reservoir! Any advice woulod be appreciated, Cheers Deb

Mine is: Down for intermittent Up one for normal wipe Up two for fast wipe ...........and is stays wonky after all of them!!!!

Mmmmmmmmmm its a landie!!! When I clean it and move the wipers it goes back in the right position, but whenever I use them it always stops short and stays at that jaunty angle! Who knows why??
