Found a loose connection on the fuel pump relay under the drivers seat, contact a little burnt, so had been arching across, cleaned & tightened. Landy running last night & today without a hitch!

Spoke too soon, a bit more info, when i switch on the ignition, the pump can usually be heard but just switched on & nothing, the only visible indication is on the instrument panel, the temperature gauge flies off the scale. The pump switches on occasionally & everything looks fine but soon...

Just been out to get a new sensor, £28 from Steve parker, i was told that this probably won't solve the problem & i may need a new pump, bought sensor anyway because old one is no good & have just fitted it, pump is now working but a little noisy, air in the fuel line, possibly? Is it possible...

Sorry, it's the water sensor at the bottom of the fuel filter where the wires are snapped, thought it was the pump itself. Will this cause the fuel to stop flowing?

The electrical lead to my fuel pump has broken, there isn't any obvious way of reconnecting the wires, any advice?
