    I am new to this defender life - and thought it was the earlier ones that tended to get stolen. Other than reasonable paint - it has no bells and whistles - basic seats, no ac, no electric windows, no... well... anything at all! I didn't think I needed any extra security till almost everyone...

    Hi All Getting mixed messages on securing my new 90 2.4tdci 61 plate. Do I need a steering wheel lock like a diac lock or one of those 1980s extendable arms etc? I assumed the alarm and immobiliser are sufficient - notwithstanding someone deciding to just tow it away! Any thoughts appreciated

    Hi Just bought a Defender 90 hardtop 61 plate. It has what I assume.is a factory immobiliser / alarm but not central locking. I have installed a central locking aftermarket kit and it has the ability to wire into outputs from alarm systems for lock and unlock signals - just simple switched...
