P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

thank you both very much! that saves me work. I read it in an Australian forum - that the connection at the bottom may be rusted and that is why there is a ‘loose contact’. I had a water problem - as you know. Thanks!

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

Good morning everyone, I have one last question on this topic: which of the 3 earthing cables is E0808? This should be screwed to the floor. I would like to check this before nanoncom arrives. Thank you!

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

Good evening everyone, I have given up looking for the fault. I have reassembled everything. Will have to wait until the end of August. Today I tried to check the cables "at the back" but then I realised that the test with the lamp was successful and therefore the cables at the back (fuse 1)...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

Good evening everyone, I have just carried out the test. The bulb lights up when I use pin 1 and 6. Which is of course not good for me. What now? let me summarise: - switch pack gets power - switch pack itself works - all fuses are working - all measured lines give the correct value - I was...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

...one more question, then that's enough for today. I've already tried to get to the cables at the back here - but if 12 v arrives at the plug in the switch box, then everything seems to be ok at this point - can I interpret it that way? tomorrow I will carry out the test with the lamp...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

...my hope was that the switch pack was not receiving any voltage - but pin 1 supplies 12 volts, so the switch pack has power. I am completely at a loss. Yes, I'm working on the nanoncom - but not until the end of august. what really doesn't leave me in peace is that i got it to work again...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

    ...have now measured at the plug: 1 - 12 v 2 - 5.28 v 3 - 5.28 v 4 - 5.28 v 5 - 63.9 ohm 6 - 24.4 ohm cannot judge it in any way. The plug at the bottom (marked red) has 12 v on both wires

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

Hello everyone, I started locating the problem today. I noticed the following right at the beginning: Ignition is on level 2 1. I get 12 volts at the fuse at the top and bottom 2. then I take the fuse out and I go directly to the "metal bracket - I mean these metal slots" - there I get 12...

P38A Driver's door does not open with the remote control

Good evening everyone, For the last 3 weeks I have had the problem that when I press the button to open the car, all the doors open - except the driver's door. The key works, the handle works and pulling up the pin manually also works. There is a loud whirring noise - from the motor in the...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

no, everything is dead on the switch pack. it must be the fuse - the first one is also responsible for the switch pack.....if I understand correctly...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

...but how likely is it that all contacts in the switch pack will fail at the same time? I've watched this video but I don't think it's my problem.... not a single button on the switch pack works. When it worked briefly, all the buttons worked.

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

Good evening everyone, I have put everything back together again today. I also ordered new fuses and replaced them today. The complete switch pack is still without function. I mean, what should I do now? The cable from the switch pack is fixed - I've already checked that. The fuses are also...

P38A Complete failure of window regulator and mirror (switch pack)

Thank you. The question is, how can I switch off the window regulator? I would like to disconnect the car battery and trigger the whole manual with a wire. In other words, energise the motor of the window regulator.
