    Classic Lucas Starter Motor Wiring

1- Pos Starter Trigger from ignition switch. 2- Main Pos Power from battery. Negative Power it gets through the body of the starter motor from the engine. Edit - Oh and that red cable that goes from the solenoid over and not connected to anything obviously needs to be connected to the starter...

    P38 Height Sensors

It will be the same amount of work to make the L405 sensors fit and work with the P38 system but they still just potentiometers, so theyll have wipers that fail too. While hall effect sensor have nothing inside that actually touches other than the bearing surface, they also have a IP67 and...

Yeah well thats an even better reason for why making these is a good idea.

    P38 Height Sensors

Thats exactly my point. Dunlop is the oem. If you can find them they work everytime and have the reliability that you are quoting. All the other no name brands that you want to replace your oem sensors with are a very hit and miss if they going to work and how long they will last.

    P38 Height Sensors

What are you going to replace those sensors with once they fail? For the past year ive been trying to buy new Dunlop sensors and i cant find stock anywhere.

    P38 Height Sensors

Busy developing new height sensors with my brother. The sensor itself is a non contact hall effect potentiometer. So no little wiper arms to wear out. The new sensors are going to be paired with a control PCB that lets them interface to the exsisting EAS controller. The arms are going to be 3D...

I just thought of it @ar1g3, are both the harmonic weights for your diffs still there and their bolts tight/rubber bushes still intact?

P38A Oil loss at the engine

Yeah its quite alot, i think its like 11 litres when filling from completely empty if i remember correctly. But the torque converter takes almost all the fluid, theres probably like 3 litres in the gearbox sump itself.

Theres not one for checking the level but look in Rave and just follow the filling procedure and then see if you are able to add any fluid in.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Has anyone ever had the one way valve in their ABS pump fail? Since i got my P38, when the ABS pump is not running it would make a very soft rythmic ticking. So making an edjucated guess i thought it was the one way valve that was leaking and then allowing pressure from the resevior to force...

    P38A Front diff pinion wobble?

As long as the slip joint is on the transfere case side you cant really install it wrong. But if if you managed to get that wrong i doubt it would cause vibrations. Are you on air suspension or coils? Ride height makes quite a diffrence to propshaft vibartions. I was driving home, on a 500km...

P38A Oil loss at the engine

Are you sure its coming from the sump gasket? Another place it could be from is the valley gasket and it then runs down the front of the timing cover. Check that both the PCV breathers along with their hoses are not blocked. The nipples that come out of the rocker covers have little christmas...

    P38A Dipstick o ring

I have no idea what it looks like on the diesel but just take the dipstick tube with you to a hydrolic shop and ask them for a viton o-ring. If you just use a normal rubber oring it will swell with time and probably start leaking agin with a few weeks.
