@Anaconda yeah it was the crank sensor. I thought it was a gear box issue at first but just glad I found this forum and was pointed towards the light lol Just a £25 fix 😊

Thanks @Nodge68 car is now running sweet as a nut. I did however managed to bend a running board support as I missed the jacking point as it was raining. So that will be my next job lol

Hi I have a Black 2008 Freelander 2 auto with 110k on the clock. I have had 5 years trouble free motoring until last night and hence why I am here. Love the Landrover brand but I can not understand why people (me included) buy such unreliable cars, knowing that they could be potential money pits...
