Freelander 2 -09 I have a problem with my rear right door lock. When unlocking with the remote, everything works, but when I lock the car, the rear door stays unlocked. I need to manually lock the door everytime. Do you think this a major issue or could it be solved fairly easy?

And to do that it´s quite easy. I just did that using Maxi AP200 and the corresponding app on my phone. Took just a few minutes and worked without any problems

I have now also programmed one more key fob just to be sure to have a spare. Just need to get the blank key in that to match the door :)

I finally managed to get in to the car. The alarm set off, I put the fob in to the car, pressed the start and everything worked. So, I must have encountered the "low power mode" and the car is now working as it should. Thanks for your support Nodge68 👍

I guess I will have too. Contacted one in the area but they have the next appointment time late October. Perhaps a locksmith can help me to get i to the car as a start?

Thanks for the reply. I have used WD40 several days ago, and a few days later also, but no success. So what you say, it´s nothing to do other than scrap the car? There must be a way in and to solve this issue I think. How else can it be a car that are sold. I´m sure I´m not the first one with...

Hi, I bought a Freelander 2, 2009 a few months ago. All in all everything has worked very well. Occasionally, I have had a battery warning, but nothing that has been causing any problem. Before summer, I parked the car, locked it and put the key inside the house as like every day. 4,5 weeks...
