    Help Needed!

I think I have the shot now! I managed to get it myself. So for now all good! Just got the underside of the tub (supports etc) to get in then I can finally put the tub to rest and get on with the rest of it! Thanks for the offer though! Matt

Also, I can share the instagram account where I post updates semi regularly, but I don't want to do that if its against the 'rules'?

    Help Needed!

@dag019 Thanks for the heads up. Dented or not is fine, its more about how the panels 'join' at the seams etc. I've got most of it done now, but that inner tailgate corner where it meets the floor I cant seem to get any decent images of!

Thanks. Decent accurate Landy models are few and far between so I decided to make my own. Hoping to 'share' it in some form at some point, but it's nowhere near ready yet.

    Help Needed!

Hi Guys, I hope this is ok to ask here? @admin if not please let me know! As a side project, I've been building a 3d model of a Land Rover (Currently my own 110 hcpu) with the intention of making all different versions at some point to swap in/out parts on etc. I have one problem currently...

    Heater options

Bolting onto the end of this thread with a heater question. 110 hicap 200tdi no air blowing from heater, but heat is there (I can keep a mouse warm for 2 seconds!) I've been thinking about diesel heaters for cab, but I dont want to lose the middle seat (for the dog). Arent there any decent...

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

Thanks for the tips. Xmas hols are incoming so I'm reserving some time for a proper under-clean and then get her protected! Diesel and engine oil looks like it does the trick!

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

I dont intend on bodywork repairs, I like all the dents, part of her history. Chassis is ok, a few repairs but solid enough to last a good few years while I save for a galv. Bulkhead does have some rust in the usual places which will need addressing, in fact thats the first big job I think will...

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

Long overdue update! So after a very long summer of looking and traveling all over to try out landies I did in the end find one that I wanted. She's no show pony, thats for sure, just a good old working pick up with a whole tonne of dents and scratches. LOVE.HER.TO.DEATH! Honestly, she...

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

Thanks again Marjon, I was getting a bit disheartened about buying one. I think it's doable, I just need to be on it with security and insurance.

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

Thanks, I think I HAVE found THE one...I'm just making sure I can keep it as safe as can be now. It's hard to know when to make that decision and just BUY it, but Id rather get the right one! Good to hear tat you can keep it on the street...I think where I am it'll be okay, as long as its not...

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

Yeah that is my plan. Nothing too fancy, just something to potter about in. I'm factoring in Deterrents/security etc in cost. Our street is on a relatively steep hill so they can't roll it away if they can't steer it.

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

So do the normal deterrents not work? (Steering wheel off, Pedal lock, Immobiliser, tracker) I really dont want to be put off buying one!
  17. Brenda__the__Defender

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

What about fitting a Ghost Immobiliser? Or are you basically saying nothing will stop someone who has the will to steal it? Surely some Landys are street parked and not locked away in garages?

Hi! New to the site and in need of advice!

Well see this one point had me thinking buy a 'cheap' one that is in good enough nick, just to get the 'landy itch' off if you know what I mean. Then if it does get stolen its not such a big deal. Honestly dont want to resort to a 'pickup truck'....
