Freelander 1 2005 Having issues with brake lights I have changed the switch at the pedal it is the modified switch( was on the car when I got it) They blow when in reverse or after reversing any help would be grateful

Hi guys looking for some help before I pull all my hair out here I’ve got an 05 freelander I’m having issues with it blowing the brake light fuse all the time I’ve changed the brake light switch so far. When it does go it puts the abs and hill descent on . Any help is much appreciated
