I've bumped into the cable at the back of the centre cubby box in my 5dr 2005 Freelander, it's not connected to anything and I was wondering what it was. It's accessed through a removable panel from the rear passenger seat footwells. Hoping all you Landy wizards can help me solve this mystery!

Hi everyone, new Freelander owner here so excuse my ignorance. My fuel gauge on my 2005 Freelander has just become stuck on full after a recent fill up and has show no sign of shifting. Could you advise what might be causing the problem and how I can fix this?
