Timing had jumped waiting for timing tools before I set it back up fingers crossed no damage....will update when tools come n I get it timed back up

No history with car apart from it drove in but was in gearbox fault mode and only driving in 5th gear so fitted new box Had a friend look today who's pretty clued up he said because it was stood for a few weeks while waiting for box the oil would have left the timing chain tensioner cause slack...

Hi already checked no ECU in gearbox, had a friend come look and listen while it was turned over and he says timings jumped and did I turn the flywheel the wrong way,I believe I did turn flywheel wrong way when tightening the torque converter up so checking timing tomorrow fingers crossed

Yes it fires but sending smoke out inlet n backfires now n then,it's like the timing is out but not touched it only replaced auto box n torque converter, n no fault codes at all

Had another look today and it's like timing is out smoking threw inlet back firing, I only replaced the gearbox and torque converter didn't touch engine...
