Is it easy to take of, just a case of unscrewing?

It's on the other end to the diff, side next to gear box. Is the flange easy to remove does anyone know. As can't get old bolt out without either cutting it or removing flange

Fortunately/ unfortunately it's the front prop. Does this make a difference? How bad would it be just running with 3 nuts and bolts?

Took my front prop shaft of to make it easier changing the gear box oil. Anyway long story short I've buggered the thread on the bolt, putting it back on (was rather fed up so tried to rush it) Is it a big job to take the circled flange off, to replace the bolt? Am I better of cutting old bolt...

Ah sorry didn't read the end saying you've checked it. Have you checked the pulley tensioner ( no idea itw actually name) but the one on the front of the engine. Relatively easy fix if it is that

I would say prop uj. I had the exact same issue metal had cracked around uj, if it is this wants sorting ASAP as if it cracks more and breaks can cause a lot of damage

I have a Kenlow fan which was fitted by the previous owner of my 300tdi defender 90. The problem I have is that the fan essentislly bolts in to the radiator through the fins on the rad, however over time this is rubbing through and causing the radiator to leak. Has anyone else experienced...
