i saw a lot of very overpriced units on EBay (as always) ;) I'll get them fitted when I finish some of my many other current non D15KOE projects :D

Yes I have them, both completely intact except for one which has one broken plastic mount lug, but easy to fix with a small right angle bracket just like you did with yours. Lenses are good no nasty scratches, just need a light buff with toothpaste once I've fitted them, and then a good wax...

Wow !! Just WOW !! Been a while since I looked in and what a great catch up, your build has come out really nice  I absolutely love some of the solutions you came up with, all in all some really great work gone into this Maestro :) Since the major refurb and MOT in February my D15KOE...

Yes the ball joints can be a real bugger to get out without a decent Tool, I have actually slid my press across the floor with a D2 on a lift and adjusted the lift height so I could press the bugger out on one of them ;)

LOL, you're worse than me with my single Active Sub and Android install, but why not ;) They do sound good though, being a part time DJ for many years i do enjoy my Music :D

Flat Bed Disco 2 Project - Anderson Connector Finally Fitted.

I'm actually thinking of buying two lengths of 3mm wall 120 x 60 Steel Rectangular Box 1500mm long and then fabricating my own 3mm Body Mounts for my own version of the Sills :D:D:D That way, if I'm still driving D15KOE at 75 to 80 years old they will still be good along with the Galvy Chassis...

Awww and there was me thinking you were getting much better ;) Here's the bit of my left rear Sill I did earlier this week before MOT soon on the 8th Feb .... clickable:- I fabricated the repair section in 16 gauge. To be fair I have been welding up rusty sh 1 t for 46 years now, there is...

:D:D:D I was honestly joking, but thanks, as I said earlier, I enjoy a good road trip when I can use a genuine reason to leave Mel here for a day or 2 ;) We don't get out much atm because Mel's mum lives next door on our land. She is 90 and is very frail / mentally ill these days :(

Steve, mate, best pal, old buddy, etc etc etc ............................. How would "work" like a road trip to NW Scotland ? LOL, just kidding, I'm a way off buying a Chassis yet, mine has another couple of years in it at least, and none of us can predict what's gonna happen in between ;)

IIRC, (and I have slept a few times since), but IIRC they do, but it was stupid money as I am classed as a remote area, despite the fact I live on the mainland (IV40) and therefore surcharges apply with the carriers that they use

Flat Bed Disco 2 Project - Anderson Connector Finally Fitted.

Thanks for that info ........... It seems that nothing has changed much since I looked at this around 6 months ago when I first got D15KOE ;) I think in my specific case as there's no ferry involved it will cost approx £200 to 300 to go pick one up myself, depending what I use for a towing...

I am envious ;) Looks great  I'm a bit drained, just finished my Bookwork / Tax return last 2-3 days, brain is really fried, so to save me reading back please refresh my memory, is that a "Richards" or ????????????????? Did you have to go collect it ? Or delivery ? How much do I need...

    Fresh out of ideas!

I'd be programming a spare ECU to it to rule that out, there is some reported issues with big capicitors inside the ECU, which could in theory account for the 30 second malarky. First thing is you will need Nanocom, read the Injector Codings from the Engine ECU fitted to the vehicle and write...

Lovely jubbly  I plan using those Turrets when it's "chassis time" ;) Almost a shame to paint 'em really, but I know what they'll look like in 6 months of exposure in our climate
