Thanks for the comments/advice. More or less all what I was already thinking myself. Good to see pics of the drilled top hinges as I'd never actually seen one - but the price of the new ones is unbelievable!! I thought the obvious place to mount door mirror was off the windscreen pivot bolt so...

Hi All - has anyone fitted the really large wing mounted mirrors as a replacement on a series 2 or 2A. I'm talking about the 10" x 7" size. If anyone has tried them can you say whether they improve visibility and if they look OK or do they look just too big?! Cheers Martin
