Hi , if its the same set up as 200 then in the top of gearbox where gear lever gos in there is a plunger that works reverse lights.this sticks on 200s leaving reverse lights on and making gear selection difficult.

i reckon standard shocks give a good ride,2" longer shocks which most fit make for harder ride and the springs will only drop so far anyway.

lots of wd40 over night make sure no leaks and bleed well after.pump brakes before you drive.They will have to be clipped as before to pass mot.best of luck.

The timimg chain and gears themselves also can wear causing the timing to change producing smoke.

My trucks been in bits for a while but from what i can remember the heater switch is only off and on,the lights are three stages so no good. I assume you have checked fuse is ok so you will have power to light switch.With small bit of cable you can bypass switch to test lights.

Is there a spark from coil? if so check spark plugs for sparks,if all is well with these then its a fuel problem.The coil could have had its day,they can overheat a few times giving you short journeys before totally dying.

Hi, sorry for delay in reply, the s111 has a 3.5 efi or will have when it's finished.The disco is 200tdi and is set up for off road although is now also used everyday as sold our v8 disco to help fund s111 rebuild.

Just had a quick look at my bulkhead and i reckon it's a dash out job.Its to the left hand side of dash binacle so tight access for spanners!

immobilsers are known faults with the 300tdi.There is a lead available to take out immobilsers for about £20 on e bay.The unit is on top off the heater matrix box so not the easiest thing to get to.

landrover has two issues on the books,1 high pressure pipe that goes across the front cross member 2 low pressure pipe from pump to bottle rubbing on engine block Hope that helps!

At the pump end of pipes there is o rings.may be lose or perished.

Hi, i bought a disco for breaking off a guy who had a similar problem to you.After breaking truck took gearbox off engine to find the centre off clutch plate had sheared and knotted it self up on pressure plate! Broke a good disco for a clutch plate gutted!

Yes will work in 300 tdi as well i have mates that also run there discos and def on it.As i said you do need a bit of diesel to thin and lubricate pump and injectors.You can get membership by saying your self employed just got to make up a company name unless you know someone you can take with...
