    2.25 ex-MOD Engine Numbers

    Hi, I know this has probably be done again and again but... I've a 1975 S3 109 Pickup, diesel. It's ex-MOD and first registered in 1986. The original engine number (as on the ID plate) seems to check out ok (906......), however, the number stamped on the engine is (as far as I can tell) 17306...
