Hi all I have a 1962 series 2a and it all runs smoothly ( touch wood). The only problem is that being an old Land Rover it’s a bit low on grunt. Is there any ways I can improve the power without a full engine conversion. Maybe a straight through exhaust? Any help would be great.

hi all, i have a series 2a land rover with the 2.25 petrol. it starts every time and runs smoothly but as soon as the revs drop the engine splutter and cuts out. I've tried adjusting the mixture and idle speed but nothing works. any advice would be much appreciated.
