    P38A BCM test and repair

Good morning gents, apologies it been so long in responding. The P38 is still in the service station..... Long story short. BcEM was sent to Turnermechatronics for test/repair. Fault found in one of the boards and repaired though it wasn't related to the problem. The unit was refitted earlier...

    P38A BCM test and repair

Gents, thank you for all the replies. Battery is around a year old, it was replaced at the same time as the alternator. When I said stuck, the vehicle logic/system wouldn’t allow the lever to be moved. There was nothing displayed on the dash when it shut down. The trip went to zero and the radio...

    P38A EAS - what else ?

That would have been a good shout, if I’d remembered the correct fuse, it’s fuse 44! If the EAS can be read with software then the fuse will be in tack. I couldn’t read mine till the fuse was replaced. Still work checking……..

    P38A EAS - what else ?

The guys in this thread will remember the 35mph fault I had a few months ago. Turned out to be a blown fuse 40 (main fuse box behind the battery). The reason it blew was a fried alarm sounder but it’s worth checking fuse 40 as it’s a 2 minute job.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Totally agree, I know your minds made up Brendan but as DT says, find a goodish one and make it a minter like you did with all of your classic motors. What else are you going to do with your time. I paid good money for that import but always thought I’d need to spend on it to get it to a...

Tyres are on the other 18’s that are on the car. Just need to get them swapped, I dare say that’ll be a few ££££‘s! I’ll leave the 16’s on the import and use these on the 4.0L :D

I’ll be 5 minutes away from them Friday when I shoot at South Downs. Better leave the shotgun with my buddy when I drop by! I’m always getting the accelerator and brake pedal confused....

Yep, I planned to but got the builders merchant without it. Those splinters are a pain to get out, forget the vacuum, tweezers! That’ll teach me.....
