Don't panic,I put the wheel in my lathe and took a sklif off it and tidied the hub up with a die grinder with one of those handy flappy barrel disks that attaches to the grinder,done my measurements and they're all fine,and then went for a drive,my god what a difference in a car,the 22" wheels...

Sus,it out ,die grinder and red grease,the only difference is the wheel nuts but I had both sizes,there isn't that much you need to buff off the rim,so good bye garbage 22"stormer,rims hello factory fit wheels,I will post a picture when am done, cheers folks

Sorry I was a bit slow there,yep that is you're typical brain dead mot tester,if it's got chunky tyres then it's a jeep, they're not educated in the ways of land Rover ownership.

Hey gold rover,I didn't realize it was my mot history, yep the front sub frame had a good bit of rot at the factory welds,so I decided when the engine and box were out I would change it and liberally coat it in waxoil and stone guard,so I won't need to do it again,it was a pain to change even...

Hi guys,just a quick update on the beer money l322, took it up to Inverness today,a round trip of just under 300 miles and it drove faultless, and I was very surprised at the fuel consumption,my previous range rover was a p38 2.5 manual and was heavier than this range rover.so I'm very chuffed

Yep what a donkey ,I'm to used to sorting diggers and dumptrucks,but all in all not the worst job I've ever done,I did find removing the transfer box when putting the transmission back in a lot easier but man was it heavy
