Many thanks for your reply. Things look a bit more involved, I have what looks like two solenoids (which I think maybe for direction of motor). There are three black wires two go to one solenoid and one wire to the other. Plus there is a thin blue wire [/IMG] any help would be appreciated

I have recently aquired a Ryders International Retriever RR 8000 winch. Fitting it on my 300 series Disco. Can anyone tell me how to wire it up?:)
