Hi Chaser, thanks for helping me locate the leak back in January. Found a o ring perished inside the top cover, replaced all seals and o rings cost about £11 for a complete seal kit from Bosch Plus the shaft removal tool about & £30.

Hi Jedi, I dropped the manifold bolt down the same area a year or so ago!!! I was lucky I fished with a small magnet on a wire for hours and then out it poped. Hope you like fishing? The only other way is to remove the pump and I dont think you would want to do that would you?

The pipe/hose I am looking for are 90 degree rubber bends and are attached by hose clips to the injector pump and fuel rails. The two rubber bends have the same part number. Any help welcomed.

Hi, can anyone tell me what BMW engine is fitted to the TD4? I need to buy a injection pump remover tool LRT-12-178 and have seen some on ebay for BMW engines and need to know that the tool is correct for my TD4. Thanks.

Update, got up early this morning and got the wife to start the Freelander up while I had the bonnet up looking for any leaks, found the small leak was coming from the top valve cover on the injector pump. Switched off and restarted after cleaning up the leak and guess what no leak, it seems...

Hi Tincan, yes checked the two rubber bend pipes and replaced the pipe clampes nearest the pump as they were tamper proof. What metal union do you mean?

Thanks again Chaser, will post outcome. Has anyone removed the injector pump on a 2004 TD4 and knows any pitfalls. I have looked on rave and it seems a lot of work to get the pump off and Special LR tools are required, can anyone confirm. Any help would be appreciated.
