Hi all, I am looking for the part number for the trim that runs along the dash in a tdi defender. I cannot seem to find this part anywhere or anyone selling not even second hand. Anyone see any for sale or know of aftermarket alternatives

Have made sure there is no airlock in the system before I change the radiator thought I would check took this picture on the weekend. Most of the time the temp gauge sits bang on 12 but then will jump to the position shown in the photo below, would you consider this high or within the normal range.

When you changed your radiator what type of replacement did you install (Steel, Aluminum) and what make. Interested to see if you updated at the same time and whether the upgraded radiators are worth the additional cost

yes the heaters work and provide the usual amount of heat for a defender. You can also feel a noticeable temp increase in the car when the gauge heat starts going up.

Thanks for all the information, Still have the Viscous Fan fitted and there is no lose in coolant level. Thermostat seems to be work correctly as the water is flowing though and into the rad when up to temp. Have check the Rad for cool spots but may take it off to give it a good flush or an...

Thanks for all the advice. As thought the guard is about 15mm off being round. Does anyone have any ideas of the best way of bending it into shape. As it was design and build to withstand impact just hitting it with a hammer is not going to work

Two photos, the pan looks all ok I tried giving it a few taps this a rubber hammer but didn't want to hot it too hard.

I have got a rover axel diff guard from paddock (part number Pm121). When I have tried to fit this to my defender it seems to be to small and not exactly the same shape as the diff. Has anyone else had this issue and how did they get it to fit? Thanks
