    Mobile mechanic put a diagnostic tool on it and it only can up with the correlation between the maf and map sensors being off. I changed them and got him to clear the codes, still nothing. I guess proper Landrover diagnostics would be more comprehensive though. I'll try and get it in as soon...

    So could I potentially just be looking at a replacement fuel pump belt? Would the old easy start in the air intake not cause it to fire momentarily though regardless?

    That belt hasn't been changed no. I was thinking that it could be the issue, but wouldn't easy start down the air intake at least cause the engine to fire?

    Ah nuts!! I was really hoping that the crank hadn't snapped! Although seeing as it wont even fire with easy start, it seems the only thing. Is there anything else it could be?

    It was the 400a mega fuse directly off the battery that blew. I was told that if the crank had broken, the crank would no longer turn? Is this not right?
