    losing all power and stalling

As near as dammit identical to what mine was doing last month. Turned out to be what the mechanic called "lazy fuel pump". New pump fitted and perfect ever since. Had it done at an unofficial dealership, total cost £402-91, ouch - (pump £255-36, diagnostics £35-00, labour £60-00, VAT £52-59). As...

Rear prop shafts.. needed for light off road?

I've learned a valuable lesson here. My answer was based on my own Freelander which I removed the propshafts from a fully serviceable vehicle. bloody prop shaft

I do this by unscrewing the bolt to give a distance between the bolthead and the cruciform of the UJ sufficient to insert a cold chisel such that when whacked it pulls the UJ away from the VCU. When it moves a bit, unscrew the bolt a bit more to narrow the gap and use the chisel again, repeat...

    replacing front break discs

Mine wouldn't hammer off, broke my HD puller, had to resort to angle grinder. On a brighter note the c/s screws came out first whack of the impact driver. Paddock Spares Rule!!!

    Rear window

If the battery has been disconnected, the taildoor glass will need to be recalibrated. If the alarm was armed when the battery was disconnected (or discharged), disarm the alarm after reconnection - the taildoor glass will fully lower. This will happen automatically if the alarm was in disarmed...
