Ok Thankyou will try again, that confirms thought I had that the faceplate would be first as it gives out the flashing red when most not connected, I guess that’s on permanently when it gets return signal from head unit via all other bits if they are all working, hope I can still test now as...

So far I have bypassed nav unit, amp and Bluetooth, face panel puts out flashing red on one side of its socket when most is unplugged from it ?
