    Code P6050

You'll be ok with 12 volts on a V8, until winter maybe & unless money is no object. I have a volt meter on my cigar lighter and have to leave the vehicle for long periods and rarely if ever do i see more than 12v at first start up. Your charge voltage is good. I recommend you put the battery...

    Hand brake question

I suggest you remove the drum and clean up the brake surfaces with acetone, oil contamination can play havoc with the handbrake efficiency.

P38A Anyone want to take a guess?

Unless it's obvious where the leak is coming from then you need to clean up the pipework first, to try and spot the leak. If it's a hose / pipe leak then quite a good way is to get it on full lock (max pressure) and use a piece of white A4 paper to locate what will probably be a jet of ATF...

P38A Odd EAS behaviour - sinking front

Lots of suggestions above :) I had a very similar issue on my previous P38, it was a long search and I would say i sort of stabilised it in the end. For the valve adjustments after you turn off then you can remove the EAS relay as suggested and replace with a normal one, this allows you to...

    P38A Electrical diagrams?

It's mainly there in the etm...component locations are at the back. Find a pdf vn which is searchable, and then you can skip from the connector numbers to location to pinout fairly easily. Unf ortunately nothing will explain to you how the loom is constructed, although etm has a dia of the...

    P38A Sudden very high idle.

I had a similar situation a few months ago on a 4L V8 - did a reset and replaced the TPS... I would just buy a second hand TPS and change it out. Be super careful removing the screws... they're very thin, and generally corroded in

    P38A Quick eas question.

Most likely...either use a stick to measure from hub cap to the top of the wheel arch (easier than remeasuring with a tape the whole time), blocks are the fool proof way and save lots of running around the car (in lieu of crawling under the car, of course). Although assuming you also have your...
