Hi all, anyone know how to remove the plastic lugs from the fascia covering the wiper linkage and motor please? There's a little hole in the top of each plastic cover but I don't want to force anything in case I break something and have to replace more than I need. Cheers.

If it's knocking whilst stationary I'd go with exhaust mounting too. If it's when you change gear and there's an audible clunk it could be rear diff mounts. This is one issue that tends to occur quite regularly on my freelander. Not too difficult to sort out and mounts are relatively cheap on...

I may be barking up the wrong tree, but on a freelander the brake pedal sensor can play up setting off the 3 amigos as they are commonly called. I've never owned a defender, but could it be the same issue. Replaced mine and sorted it out in ten minutes. Just a thought?

The rear bushes, the big nasty buggers, can be bought fairly reasonably for around £26 each. That includes the housing ready fitted. It makes a pig of a job much easier by not having to fight a new bush into the old housing, and for a few quid more keeps the stress monkey off your shoulder. A...
